Andy started the practice eleven years ago and Helen joined in 2017. We are a team of three currently and looking for the fourth member of the team. The practice has grown steadily over the last ten years, but we have seen significant growth over the last year. Our work over the pandemic helping clients navigate the cashflow challenges and government advice through updates, webinars and Linked In updates for the wider community really raised our profile.

We really enjoy what we do, we know we make a difference to our clients, and they do too. This is what makes the work enjoyable and why we never get that dreaded Sunday night feeling.

The role

We are looking for someone who fits with our team and is either AAT qualified or QBE with good excel skills. You will be supporting Andy in compliance services and Helen on the financial strategy for our clients. This will give you a rounded experience of how our clients can meet their compliance needs but also grow a profitable business.

The role will include but not be limited to

-Management accounts

-Preparation of limited company and sole trader accounts to the review stage

-Month end KPI reports for clients

-Bookkeeping cover

Experience with Xero and Quickbooks online is essential.

Our office is based in Hyde, but we see this as a hybrid role with office and home working and flexible working hours to fit in line with both parties.

Training will be provided through formal provision and through supervision. The experience we have held in providing training include Andy previously working as a tutor teaching ACCA, ACA and CIMA and Helen delivering training at a Top 20 accountancy firm. We have experience in small and large practices along with time spent working in industry. We understand the value of training and are keen to support our new employee in their development.


Ideally you will have at least two years’ experience in a small practice. Personality wise we look for someone who is confident speaking to clients directly, will see a task through to conclusion, an ability to work remotely and enjoys working in a small team.
